In 1986 I had a surge of interest in writing poetry, and in one instance I told of a "chariot of polyester [that] weighs aside professionalism's sleek advise." For reasons that I cannot touch upon here, I scored The Chariot of Polyester in an orchestral setting that must rank as one of the most refractory and inherently poor-sounding instrumental combinations ever conceived.
